great report Andy, I was the startline Marshall again this year (the handsome one) and thought some of your launches were the smoothest we witnessed, you and Missprint certainly seem to have the wheel spin under control. we won't the 3 false starts caused by lack of juice! glad that the grumpy timekeeper eventually allowed your 5th run. trust me he was a reet grumpy bloody Yorkie,
makes you wonder why people get involved if all they can do is be officious.
Phil the Egg, Take Care David and I had a great day on the start. the only pity is of course is that once you've taken Paddock bend and the start of your second lap is all we can see from the start, plus we can't hear the snidy commentary from Lord U and his assistant Arthur Daley. good day nonetheless, 2 practice runs each, 6 timed and a run off and all done by 3.30pm, amazing. just shows the attrition rate, with Paul Clarkes brakes failing, as you mention Simon Moores crash and a couple of other withdrawals during the day it was a hectic day, much enjoyed as always.
