... I had a chat to Mark Evans who knew there were quite a few failures. He did say that Centa had changed the composition of the rubber and made then a few mm longer in an effort to extend the life. I guess time will tell if it works.

Would be nice to know what cars had what version of the Centa so we could help with the data! Meanwhile, those of us still under warranty maybe should ask dealers to check (prove with photos?) they are in good condition before the warranty expires...
