Thanks for all the photos and info Obie. Impressed that you did it all on an exchange basis yourself, I know some others have but it's quite a job. Looking at the clunky fit of the hub to the crank before, it should all run much quieter and smoother, certainly a job worth doing. I found a lot of the vibrations and clunks went after doing these Centa mods, not all of them but a lot laugh2

I know Phil says it's not needed but I drilled and wire locked the four Allen head bolts that hold the insert retaining plate in place. You don't want them falling out but as they occasionally need to come out you don't want to do them up too tight, use locking washers or Loctite, they need to be positively locked I think. Maybe overkill on my part?
