Yep.. that's the idea, there are plenty of pre, x-flow and cvh Mogs running around for whom moving to more modern tech will give ease of drivability, maintenance and reliability.

The trick for us is to keep the cost down and utilise as much of the existing kit as possible (gearbox etc)... and TBH keep the engine looking reasonably period (including looking into modified DCOE castings with injector fittings). Ford is also a period Morgan supplier of engines so the Zetec E should have no cultural challenges around authenticity.

Hopefully using our experience we will be able to get a repeatable and by-the-numbers approach which gives a predictable outcome and quality.
