Relocation may well happen to us much sooner than we think, and for slightly different reasons. a recent report just published has identified 20 odd coastal locations that are at risk of serious flooding by 2030 only 5 years away and flooding prediction accelerated from the original projection of 2050, In the NW they list Morecambe, Fleetwood, Southport all just up and down the coast from us, and the highlighted map does show us in red with the others at risk although we don't get a specific mention.
Maybe we shouldn't have bothered currently spending £50k on the roof, chimneys, guttering, fascia boards etc .the months of work is nearly finished, but at least it will look nice when we sell it.
