Other than a Ford GT40, who would have thought that a Ford badged mundane relatively warmed up saloon car would hold that much affection.
When there are by comparison the likes of the Lotus Carlton just a decade younger and still pretty analogue, that ate most prestige sports cars for breakfast. No accounting for taste, but in the case of some fast(ish) Ford ,they are becoming a little too expensive a taste for what you get.
I'm sure someone is hopefully very happy, but I get the feeling that it might well be a case of in the heat of the moment, repent at leisure.
