My 4/4 has served me well during the 14 years of ownership and over 80k miles at the wheel. Its still 100% reliable - starts at the first turn of the key and feels like new to drive. Speaking to a friend who enjoyes an MGA from the 1950s the slump in prices is across the board, as much as 30% off from values three or four years ago.
My local Morgan agent says business at present is "dire". But this slump reflects a general sentiment across the UK. Something to do with deep conflicts around the wider world perhaps, many too dreadfull to think about. There was a time I might have wanted to recover the "wasting asset" before the mileage crept too far along the path towards depreciation, but today think that I shall enjoy her up until the bath-chair phase.
