That is some thread resurection.

I'll see you out on the track at some time in the season and we can catch up, the Aeroclub trips seem like a lifetime ago.

The first couple of races are interesting and depending on what class you're in the speed differential can be disconcerting. I remember my first race at Snetterton looking at the speedo thinking I'd stopped when Keith Ahlers went by.

Now, what class are you planning on entering?
Great to hear from you!!! indeed... will be good to catch-up. I've been missing the Morgan crowd for all the years I've been off... life's been busy (I'm sure all round).. so it will be nice to get back into things.

I'm aiming to be out in Class 5 - the 220bhp/1000kg class. My blue and white racer would be Class 2 and that seemed a little "optimistic" for an inaugural year. I'm also going to be skipping the first two races as I won't be ready by March (my ARDS isn't until later that month)... and as a novice I don't think I can do SPA... we have a Shakedown Day booked at Silverstone instead. So my first race out will be the late June race.

Anyhow... all this will be covered in the show... I hope you all like it.. I figured it would be a nicer way to get things done and give a bit more insight into what goes on behind the scenes.
