I have just joined this group and recognise some old friends. (I do hope it's not always as grumpy here as it is on this thread, however)
But back to the topic the new logo does not bother me in the slightest (despite the ugliest "O" I think I have ever seen). Neither do I think it has some sinister connotations. I would agree with an earlier posting and suspect that it is a tidying up exercise clumsily executed.
If I may introduce myself. My name is Brian Vickers from Jersey. I have been familiar with Morgans since the early 70's when I frequently used to visit Station Garage Taplow in order to get spares to support my - invariably vain - attempts to keep my Elan on the road. There were always plenty of Morgans around which at the time I thought were strange, slow, anachronisms, a view I kept for the next 30 odd years. However when the Aero 8 was launched I cancelled my order for a TVR Tuscan and placed an order for an Aero. I also started to immerse myself in the on-line Morgan community. The price of the Aero steadily rose (it was £49k when I placed the order) and I finally started to see the point of the trads, the combination of these two events led me to switch my order. 3 weeks later my +8 was in build
