Tremendous write up Mario.
I have the Suplex front shocks but standard, not Brooklands exhausts. I set the preload slightly higher than the Suplex recommendation just to clear the exhausts. Not a big adjustment and not very scientific but given that it is a road car rather than a super stiff race chassis machine really quite effective and I do prefer the Suplex fronts to the standard shocks. The three sets of Suplex shocks that I have had for the rear are another matter; suffice to say that I have Spax adjustable shocks on the rear.
The fuel gauge is easily improved with a longer sender for the tank, found at Europaspares and is the 280mm long item. The gauge will still wander depending on whether you are going uphill/downhill/left/right but you should get about 320km from 100% to 0% and about another 80km before it is empty.
Keep enjoying the wee car and good luck at Caramulo.
