Hi Chris
My theory is that the centa problems are caused by material compression set ie under so many loadings (road miles) the rollers change shape enough to squeeze into the rotor gaps and finally get chopped up.
If Im right then the MK2 rollers could be better as they are harder so will compress less and the extra length will constrain them more to reduce elongation.
so really all current rollers will fail sooner or later depending on mileage
could be wrong though!
