Peter, I personally think there is hardly a more witty humour than the Jewish. And it is based on such a philosophy of life as the rabbi shows in the example with the kangaroo meat.

For anyone that has never read it, reading Leviticus in a modern translation is absolutely fascinating and quite remarkable
As you say, Shows an incredible level of sophistication and understanding of hygiene


Im no expert in these matters, but I bet it wasn’t so hygienic on Noah’s Ark!
