I doubt our current ventilator manufacturer does a night shift ....with current staff supervising engineers/technicians drafted in from other firms it must be possible .

From what I have gathered, it isn't as simple as telling the manufacturers to increase production, they rely on certain parts made abroad to assemble the equipment, and most of these parts are from China which unfortunately is either closed or in limited production capacity at the moment.
