The problem is that the roof isn’t an easy fit because the Speedster is missing the rear roof connector points (some MMC employees have an ‘interesting’ name for the connector but I won’t write it here!); therefore, it requires not just a new windscreen, frame and side windows but also modification to the bodywork and that is before the roof itself and the frame. I looked into it and £10k+ was a ballpark figure.

Love the look of the Speedster but it is compromised for road use without a face shield/helmet… unless you are willing to take a bug or debris to the face at speed nono

If I am not mistaken, this Speedster was at a London dealer, up for sale at circa £68k - so if someone pays that at auction, they should have bought it direct from a dealer and had the protection that comes with that.
