Well spotted. $350,000+?

Hmmm. I wonder......

I remember a client of mine in the 1980s in South West of France, RAF Battle of Britain pilot Rex Furneaux, telling me about a Graber bodied Bentley drop head he had once owned.

Rex was a nice old stick, full of stories about his time in the RAF, and his business career after the end of hostilities. After the war, he went into property development in London, and IIRC owned a club or two. He owned a succession of fine cars, including a Graber bodied Bentley drop head. He ended up selling the car to Lonnie Donegan, who begged him to let him buy it. He said he always rather regretted letting it go.

I don't know how many Bentleys Graber bodied, I wonder if this one could have been Rex's.
