At that price, I feel they ought to improve the bonnet fit. Would one have as much one with a good 1960s plus 4 at a quarter of the price - I would have thought so. It's a strange world we live in.

I don't think incorrect reporting. I am pretty sure it was bid up to 50,500 pounds and that is what was seen by more than one of us, but has now been relisted for over double. I think the owner has rocks in their head as the market has shown what it is willing to pay. I agree with SCX358G/Dave that a 1960's plus 4 at 1/4 the price would be just as much fun. I think probably more fun because it is has no roof and I feel the 1960's public would agree with me. The +4+ is a great looking car and valuable due to being rare and different to what else you can buy, but I expect was a flop in the 1960's because in the 1960's (just like now) a +4 was more fun to drive and that is why you buy a Morgan.
