I thought you were joking but my supermarket yesterday had a completely empty shelf where the toilet paper should have been. Also missing was kitchen roll, I assume bought by people who had been too late for the Andrex. Amongst other things I failed to get were eggs. You can't stockpile eggs so are people eating them to avoid the need for the bogroll?

Luckily there was no shortage of wine so I came home with a good supply of Merlot. At least now I've got plenty of corks.
