My closest colleague in my institute has been planning a trip to Goa for half a year to visit friends there who have set up a hotel there. It was supposed to leave from Frankfurt 15 minutes ago. But an hour ago India has forbidden the entry for Germans. So gradually it is getting mixed up who is the threatened and who is the threatener. But I can understand India on a less compassionate level.

At the end of May I wanted to go to New York with my son for a week. I don't care who doesn't want to, but I don't think it's gonna happen. Maybe it's better for both parties. After all, Lufthansa has offered to exchange the destinations until November for all those who have booked a ticket. That includes all tickets, even the cheap ones without flexi fare as we have. A good gesture from LH because they are making a dramatic loss anyway and are already only operating 50% of the flights.
