I believe the irony is that we have some companies that make parts used in them but not final assembly companies.

I would prefer that the company that makes them STILL makes them and is incentivised to do so rather than 1000 new ones come into the system assembled (with due respect for those with good intentions) as they learn on the job. A recall on a ventilator means a fixed % of other people found out the hard way. Daft.

When I heard the new boy say we will buy them from anyone at any price I nearly screamed "feckin amateur" and threw something at the telly. Given the naff professionalism involved I can only assume it was part of the pravda scare tactic and was executed in just that manner - isolate because there are not enough ventilators. Whilst it may be true it is being handled in such a clumsy manner it can only be part of an (ha ha) organised campaign. If it were truthfully like that I could only see them hiding the fact. Unless of course a sudden streak of truthfulness has dawned on this age........I still live in hope. Who am I kidding.
