That should work well for the herd immunity experiment.
Just have to hope that you don't have any asymptomatic carriers. It is not so much the risk to the children, whose systems seem by and large able to cope, but the risk that they will carry it back to their parents and grandparents.

If I understand the present thinking on how the most severe cases are occurring it is the person's immune system fighting the virus that is causing the lung inflamation. Tocilizumab used in conjunction with antiviral medicine is showing good results by reducing lung inflamation.
