i've been putting down some formwork ready to lay a small seating area in the garden, bodges so far:
The pegs have a mind of their own, I suspect they are female and refuse to go in straight. The boards are sawn pine and have shredded my hands in the few seconds I handled them without gloves. The ground is not quite as level as I thought and so I have a gap under the board at one end where no doubt concrete will escape.
Otherwise I'm feeling pretty smug. I learned how to re-roof a shed with tiles, laid 9 metres of path, painted everything that is static, repaired a rotten sill, dug a french drain the list goes on and on.
Now that we are free at last my DIY days are shortening as my mind turns to trips out, could be tomorrow.
