My starting point is based on the mostly stock TR-4A in my car:

  • Main venturi: 32
  • Aux venturi: 4.5
  • Main jet: 135
  • Air correction jet: 180
  • Idle jet: 50 F9
  • Accelerator pump jet: 40
  • Needle and seat: 2.00
  • Check valve: 50
  • Emulsion tube: I'm using Keith Franck's Small VP Tube. My choice for a Weber tube would be either an F11 or F15 tube.


Once I get it fired up and running OK, I'm going to use an Innovate Motorsports AFR meter to do the fine tuning. If you PM me your email address, I'll let you know if anything changes (and any steep or expensive bits in my learning curve).
