Step 2: Tar spot remover, several applications.
Step 3: Polish and inspect
Step 4: repeat Step 2 and 3 several times until all tar spots have been removed.

There is some pitting, for perfection I should remove the end pipes and mechanically polish.
But then it wouldn't be a bodge.


Excellent work Peter, a true bodger would combine steps 1-4 with "rub with old rag liberally soaked in petrol"
