I have always liked the appearance of well crafted hardwoods and have an aged box of 70no. A4 sized veneer samples from Shadbolts. The fragrance when the box is opened hasn't diminished over the 50 years that I have had it although there isn't a piece of Tambooti in it - presumably because of its properties. There is however a piece of Yew which I know also has toxic properties.


Used to purchase some very high spec internal doors from Shadbolt, also knew them as Shadbolt & Petter in the early days
