I imagine the owner of the CXT bought it, ragged it round the streets of Monaco for a few months to show off to their mates, and as Jon said, got bored and moved on to the latest automotive gimmick. Probably wouldn't care less that they'd lost £40k - it would be pocket change to them.

All 8 were sold very quickly, so I would suggest that Morgan got it exactly right, and made a fair few quid out of it. Raised the profile of the company, and broke a little away from the staid image and showed another side to the marque. Long may it continue

I could never afford one, but have a few plans for a CXT homage for the winter months when I have to keep the roof on......
