In golfing terms this was an interesting auction to watch.

The opening strokes were a series of duff shots before the confident 42 bid. That swing was a carefully crafted draw out of the rough. It landed nicely on the green leaving a simple putt (with just a little bit of left to right) to sink the winner.

So where, in the scheme of 3-wheeler prices, does this leave us in relation to the M3W in the US market.

An examination of historic transactions on BaT is informative.

In summary:
• The first M3W trade occurred on BaT in March 2016
• There has been a total of 32 M3W auctions since
• Of those auctions, 26 were the 2010 + models
• Of those 26, 19 transactions were completed and 7 did not meet reserve
• The last sale exceeding this ACE was a 2016 M3W with 500 miles @ US$ 47,000 in March 2020
• There have only been 4 sales at prices above this ACE in BaT history
• The highest price was for a 2017 M3W in August 2019 for US$ 48,250 that included a custom-built registered trailer.
• The lowest price was for a 2013 M3W in April 2017 for US$ 30,000

This has been an interesting exercise
