I had an excellent track day at Goodwood with my local dealer (Bell & Colvill) yesterday - weather perfect and the car suited the track waaaaay better than it had any right to, or so I thought. These old classic circuits were designed to suit the low grip, drifty chassis' that proper motor cars had back in the day and I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that a fundamentally 50 year old design of tricycle should have performed so well. Drifty, predictable, tolerably fast, period-ly noisy and awesomely good fun. Think I converted at least one non-believer with a passenger ride towards the end of the day and the 3-Wheeler was faster than many of the Lotii present. All in all a fab day on track, sandwiched between lovely 30 miles drives there and back across the Sussex countryside. What's not to like
