I drove my 3 Wheeler for the last time on Saturday, up my steep drive, half a mile down the road, on to a trailer. It has a new owner.
Today I have placed an order for a 4/4.
The end of an era? Mind you don't get stricken by claustrophobia behind the enormous windscreen on the 4/4.
Aero screens are the answer. Love mine in hot weather.
Ah, but there is hot weather and hot weather. Down here, in summer, I will probably drive the 4/4 with the hood up!
Driving the M3W on an average July/August day was like being in a sauna. I did more miles 'out of season' and enjoyed it most on cold but sunny days, fully togged up with leather jacket, balaclava and gauntlets.
