Peered out the window this afternoon to find dry roads for the first time in a while, so rushed out to fire up the car that hadn't been used for nearly three weeks. Was expecting a protracted start sequence as on previous two occasions, but despite similar low temperature it fired up on first push of button Had a short but exhilarating blast around country lanes before returning at dusk.
Thoughts were that maybe the ECU had adapted its mapping to better suit the cold weather. Any likelihood of this being the case?
