Yes took out seat bases and mopped out. Have now proven to myself that if I can stay dry mid winter driving will be relatively comfortable
Forgot to mention previously that I was seeing a lot of water escaping from the outside tops of mudguards in the heavier rain. Don't think any of it blew into cockpit, but was surprised how much. I do have new Excelsiors on with deep tread and of course the mudguards don't align with wheels when viewed from above, so I'm sure that has some bearing.
And whilst I think that mudguard-less wheels look fab, can you imaging the mess you'd make of yourself and the car when driving in the rain like that...?!
