So this picture is the 'Hanging Gibbet' roman road that leads to the beautiful village of Elsdon. What you can't quite see in the distance is the steep decent into Elsdon which is classed as the second most challenging climb in a book of British cycling's hardest climbs! The Super 3 scampered back up it and I didn't cough up a lung at the top as I usually do on my bike. In Elsdon is the famous cyclists cafe - also known as the Impromptu Cafe (who welcome car drivers too! - the owner loved the Super 3) where you can enjoy their excellent tea, famous Gibbet Cake and look at all the cycling memorabilia on the walls. It's a great run out, might see you there sometime!
