Speaking of sadly missed comedians. Australia has lost its finest. Barry Humphries was not just a funny man but a national treasure. His incarnations in a wide array of classic characters bought humour and insight into Australian culture. Always irreverent, often cringe-worthy; he had the rare capacity to make us laugh and look at ourselves.
Life was not always easy for Barry but I hope he has now found a comfortable seat.....
