Coutts Bank have issued a press release where they admit failings and wish to apologise following recent adverse publicity resulting in senior staff resignations after the Nigel Farage debanking debacle.

The banks board state they have learnt valuable lessons and will incorporate these into future banking operations.

To move forwards, the bank have invited Mr Farage to reopen his Coutts bank account and in a gesture of good will have invited him to the banks staff summer ball.

This will feature a musical extravaganza and the banks “ethical banking and PEP committee” have agreed to entertain staff in an effort to boost moral.

The theme of this years summer ball is “inclusivity and diversity” as a member of the banks ethical committee admitted that despite the banks Diversity targets its clientele remain “horribly white and upper class”
