The videos main intent was for the OB brand, not Morgan. It's a nice collaboration but the main intent here is to sell the OB brand. Morgan isn't the first to partner up like this nor will it be the last. OB wanted something different, cool and unique which ties in well with their brand story.
Indeed - remember the
SuperDry M3W? I had no clue about that clothing brand either (until spotting them in a mall in Vegas!).
The joys of having a much younger partner. I have managed to get my Mrs to ditch her pretend SuperDry Belstaff, but had to buy her a real one.....
SuperDry are a good old UK brand though and started in Cheltenham.
Personally I see no problem with Morgan linking up with brands - they've done it a lot over the last few years - watches, Gin, sunglasses, Cricket etc. All gets the name out there......
I appears there are some amongst us who are desperate for the demise of MMC and try and flag everything they do as a portent of doom.........
