Another thing that happened on the way home, is after about 20 minutes of driving away from the dealership. I noticed the gear knob had moved? It’s no longer straight, and can’t be spun back by hand. So I’m guessing the shaft has spun round and not the knob. Weird. I’ll have to remove the knob and place it back the right way round. No big deal. I just thought it was strange.
