A squealing belt noise from the rear end likely means the belt is not properly aligned and shifts a bit sideways under acceleration causing it to rub on something. If that is the case the evidence should be visible upon careful inspection.

Toothed drive belts do not "bed in". Something is amiss.


Hey, thanks. Yeah I kind of expected this. It was doing it from the second I left the dealership so I’m guessing it did it for them as well, so they must of just ignored it.

I’ll ring them after the holidays to see what they say, unfortunately I’m in Northern Ireland so I can’t just leave it in with them to sort out for me.
