Some years back I bought a brand new 3.7 Roadster.
The clutch failed to operate 24 hours later and the car had to be recovered to my local Morgan Dealer. They weren't the supplying dealer and I had a very good relationship with them so they were quite forthcoming. Turns out it was a clutch cylinder issue that was known to the factory ! A modified replacement cured it.
Aside from corroded screws and fittings all over the place (that would have cost pennies to improve at the build stage) the car was reliable after that.
