this is good news I think that the new B-Boxes are better machined and that it does not reproduce the same stupidity of 1/2 reduction, the new reduction is 1.947 or 19 teeth for 37 teeth which allows it to work all the teeth of the pinion on all the teeth of the crown, this will add about 5 km / h if it is mounted on a m3w 5 speed.
Known as "hunting tooth" gear sets in the UK. Each tooth chases then gets to touch each on the other in the set after a certain number of revolutions, evening out wear particularly where loads vary in a consistent manner.
