If flying back that afternoon the extra weight I was carrying extended the plane’s take off down the runway. Belfast City airport next to the Harland &Wolf cranes. Bumpy runway.

Yes very bumpy & not a fun place to visit in the late 70s, but also a wonderfull place. I remember selling a food processing machine to press scampi from monk fish to a fisherman on the quay side pub, shop & post office at Annalong in the summer sun drinking Guiness & Blackbush chasers with the mountains of Mourne in the back ground.

Our service agent had a house on Starangford Lough with a view to die for.

I'm so glad that peace now prevails there.
