This is not uncommon on the M3W which has the same gear knob.
The lower part of the knob unscrews to reveal 3 small grubs rows. Loosen these, reset the knob and retighten.

Time to let the new Super 3 owners what toolkit they need to "maintain" their new vehicles? if I recall this is a very small hex key but I dont remember the size. PS: Does the Super 3 come with the hammer that M3W5sp came with? I thought that superbly summed up the Morgan engineering approach
