I understand that Sizewell has become the most expensive piece of infrastructure ever built in the world. I don't hold out too much hope based on the UK abysmal track record of delivering infrastructure to budget and on time.
I think you mean Hinckley Point? They haven't started on Sizewell C yet, and the PWR at Sizewell B was a pretty good example of an excellent project. Started work in 1987, synchronised to the grid 1995, projected life until 2055. It can be done.
