Just fit the Caravan with Batteries to increase your range. I think it is time for Tesla to make a range extending caravan.
In 2011 I saw a MG TF that had an Electric motor that towed a small trailer caravan that had a row of batteries underneath the floor that his bed was on. I talked to the guy in Canberra after he had finished his first trip. He told me that he would drive about 200km a day, pull up at a powered Caravan site and plug in to recharge both the car and the Caravan overnight. The MG TF had been used for racing and fitted with a worked MGB motor but the previous owner wore it out and then decided to sell it. Not sure if the Caravan parks would be happy as I expect he used a lot more electricity than the usual caravan that people plug in.
