The fly in the ointment as ever is this:
"Relatively affordable EVs at around the £35,000 mark"
Where we live, very few people have the means to consider a "relatively affordable £35k". This is typical Autocar Cityboy thinking.
And finance with growing inflation, job insecurities and so on isn't likely to change this anytime soon. So the e-vision will face a cost ceiling, which only time will show what the eventual numbers will be.
