2 million new car buyers every year, then they may be on the shortlist. I guess anyone buying a new car might be regarded as 'rich' by some.
I bet a lot of those new cars are rented/leased on some sort of PCP rather than purchased outright. Actually owning your new car seems to becoming an exception these days.
Mrs has got a spanky new Golf Hybrid on order at the moment (due April 2023) but it is a company car, and leased.
Nothing wrong with being rich. I certainly consider myself 'comfortable' compared to a great proportion of the UK. Even though I'm within the Basic Tax rate, I still earn more than 90% of the population.
