It is all very well having batteries that can be quickly charged but putting, for example, 60kWh into a battery in 10 mins requires both high voltage and amperage.
Just where is that combination of voltage and amperage available outside heavy industrial establishments?
Certainly nowhere near where people live.

The answer is hydrogen, to replace diesel road transport and light vehicles and leave gasoline for the 5% who drive for fun...bikers, sports car owners and powerboats.
