Whilst I agree with your sentiments on the 400 jets, it pales into insignificance if it brought together world leaders to a face to face meeting that agreed to stem the deforestation of 85% of the world. Could that have been achieved without the 'publicity stunt' of COP26, I serious doubt it. As individual country leaders can sell their country's commitments to their constituents as part of a shared global package of change and pain, rather than a country led imitative which may fail when only subjected to domestic pressure. India agreeing to be carbon neutral by 2070, is staggering (I did smile it gave them another 20 years of dirty industry competitive advantage over other countries) I just hope they do something about the open sewer of the Ganges
