TBM - when you say Milk Floats, what specifically is that referring to? BEV's in general?
Luddite - My 4x4 is currently a 3x3! It went in for a service and on the way gave me the big red ! symbol on the dash. Sod's law. One of the airbag's for the air suspension had given up. Replacement actually involves the whole strut leg of course. So it is now a 3x3 waiting for parts. For a month and expected delivery is another 6 weeks. Made in the USA MB plant as this is closest to it's main market. So no spare in the EU, it has to be sent from US to DE, then to UK, then to Dealer and they currently had zero stock. Magic. Cannot wait to see the bill for this one, actually I can!
I think it is only right that people install a new fused spur for the car charger. Can you imagine the press if your home went up in smoke "due to charging your car overnight" and the knock on effect in everyone's house insurance. Not good. It is a heavy consistent load on a house system that is technically unknown to the installer. Heaven knows what home adjustments might have been made ? So the liability for the installer is interesting without it.
Mind you 3x3 sounds like Morgan's next "special" a CX-T style super 3 perhaps

Chunky rubber, F1 style roof bars (exit might prove interesting for our average age group

)
It also makes way more sense if you have made the move to self generated/stored electric as some here have clearly planned ahead so well.
If I wanted to save the world it would seem more intelligent to work on shared transport outside of main train lines, urban transport, city flexible schemes (applause to the bike and scooter schemes) and reduction of travel altogether through more work from home schemes in industry being supported. Would the amount of cash dumped into HSR2 (to the benefit of extensive private companies) done something better?
Some people complain about the morass of delivery vans but that just took out 140-200 individual journeys per day, albeit it does enable overt consumerism in some cases.
Okay I am off for a snickers, I am clearly bordering on being hangry. Good old Rowan.
