Yep, I've said many times, Tesla has certainly got it right with the range and infrastructure.
However, it's a bit of a rich mans toy. Down here in the budget section we only have available cars with a small range and a lousy charging network. A 10yr old Nissan Leaf with a 60mile range is not an attractive proposition.
The Golf is an excellent car, and with the ehybrid we get the best of both worlds. I don't enjoy driving it though, but that is a reflection on my driving pleasure rather than a reflection of the car itself.. Far too many whistles and bells - I prefer a much more analogue experience, and enjoy getting down and dirty with my vehicles - full brake and suspension overhaul on the MG today.
