If you need a new car, then it's hard to avoid considering an EV - with prices starting at around £25k for a new EV, there's a lot of choice too.
It is getting better, but still out of reach for a great many people, and the current second hand market is fetching inflated sums due to the shortage of new vehicles
My Tesla is 41p cheaper per mile than the car it replaced and I have saved £8,200 in fuel costs since buying it - with no servicing costs, no road tax and no congestion charge, which are also significant savings.
