Today, replaced my OEM front brake pads at just over 49k miles and 12 years. Still a good 5mm left but it’s no money.
I went for Ferodo FDB832 and changed brake fluid at same time.
Re: the H clips, there has been discussion here before about which way round they go. According to the Ferodo leaflet, they go with the central tabs facing each other i.e. both towards the middle.
Just need some clear roads now for bedding in.
